My Testimony

I heard the Gospel message first time at the hospital bed from a Christian lady in Punjab when I was injured by truck accident during my work on Highway. I was Laboratory Technician in Highway department and this Christian Lady was also working in this same department. My father was the landlord and involved in politician. I belonged to Islam and our family was very strict in religious point of view. So my father was always trying to teach me about Islam and he forced me to obey Allah and Islamic rules etc. I did not like the way of his forcing to follow the religious ritual things because my heart was not satisfied with the religious things. During the accident attack I was injured very badly and this Christian lady took me to hospital in my unconsciousness. When I opened my eyes finding myself in hospital bed, I was totally sad and confused. This Christian lady came to near by me and started to pray for me. She prayed for about 10 minutes and that was the time of my comfort feeling. I knew that something is going to happen in my life. After prayer she shared some thing with me, which made me more interested to find out about this truth. I asked her to tell me more and stay with me some more time. I realized that my wounds and injuries were recovering fast. She started to visit me daily in hospital and prayed for me and she taught me the things from Bible.

After about a week, I was discharged, but I took her address and phone number. So she gave it to me with great pleasant and invited me to come to her home for further teachings. I started to visit her daily and learnt a lot of new things about Biblical truth. Those things were really very peaceful and blessed for me. I finally came to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord & Savior. I felt very comfort and assurance of eternal life. I was healed by His mighty way, and this was the result of the Christian lady who prayed for me in fasting many times regularly.

After about 6 months, my parents knew that I accepted Jesus Christ and my life was changed so they forced me not to obey Bible. They put me in Islamic religious institute without my permission and they told the Muslim priest to teach me the Quran forcefully. I was very disturbed by this attitude of my own parents and other Muslim priests. I regularly prayed to God and asked His wisdom and help in this regard. I had a Bible to read daily secretly. Priest found it and they finally started to persecute me. Once they gave me poison but God saved me by His miracle. I was beaten many times and some of my bones are broken. Still I have bone problems. I was put in jail for many days. I knew that God is always with me I submitted myself to Him.

Finally I realized that I should go away from my own area, and God also told me to go other area. I ran away to Sindh and found a place in Sanghar City where I met with a Pastor who provided me shelter in his own house for about a year. I started to grow in faith and this pastor helped me very much in teaching me the Bible. I become member of this Church and God helped me in my spiritual life.

I got married in 2000 with a Christian lady from this city and we both then moved to a city where she was appointed as Nurse. Same time God called me to share His word with my own Muslim people in my area. I thank God that He has been using me for His own glory by this way and many people have come to be His children through my witness. I am encouraged to see that people are really very interested to know the truth.

At this time I have monthly outreach to different areas of Sindh province and my wife supports me in this kingdom work for God.

I ask your prayers and support to continue and work effectively for God. I have desire for my own people to come and accept Him in their lives.

Please pray that God use me more and give me His wisdom to do this kingdom work in this Muslim country.
