Praise report of 8/9/07

We are delighted to tell you the news about our two days outreach to ******, where 6 of our volunteers participated in this event to do the God’s work. On first day we started the outreach by distributing tracts in the public places and right at the corner of Market place we were attacked by some group of Muslim people. Who gathered around us and asked many questions that who gave you permission to do this? Why are you doing this among our Muslim people? etc, They beaten some of us and took us to another place. They robbed every thing that we had with us including our cell phones and evangelical material. They put all the material in fire. We all prayed in hearts asked Lord to help us in this terrible situation we did not know what they are going to do with us. They threatened us stop working in their area otherwise they kill us. They recorded our data with ID cards.

We went to the place where we stayed for some time and spent much time in prayers together. We asked God to forgive them who never know what they are doing. We asked God to lead us for next day’s program and Holy Spirit led us to do His work.

Next day we started praying to God and asked His protection. So we took remaining stock of the tracts and went out to the out side of this city area where we started distributing them. We were very careful doing this. Even though there were not a lot of people but were enough to reach. On this day we had another incident that happened which was so amazing for us. Some one belonging to Christian family came to us and asked us to go with us and pray for her son who was sick. We went to this place and found a Muslim lady asking to help her husband who is paralyzed. Two of our members went with her and saw her husband paralyzed on bed. We noticed this same man who was involved with persecution incident. He shared with us the story of this immediate accident of paralyzed. We prayed for him and encouraged him not to worry. We had opportunity to share God’s word with this family. They requested for the Bible but we had out o f stock.

We thank God for this wonderful experience of doing God’s work with different way. We are now back to home and we are going to have treatment of our wounds etc.

The people have been preparing for the National Independent day of our country on 14^th August so we want to print tracts to use for this day and we are praying that God help us in this matter to provide more finance. Please pray with us.
